What a joy. In the evening, hiking high up in the snow. My dear friend invited me (us) on a snowshoe night hike. For me, the very first time hiking at night in the mountains in winter. There were a few small oil lamps here and there for orientation and a nearly full moon. That evening was a dream. I could have walked for hours, the silence, the snow rustling and the vastness. You become aware of the size here. And how small we humans are. And how big/important we always think we are. For me, it was an incredibly beautiful experience.
