It was supposed to be a quiet Sunday hike on Solothurn's local mountain. A little sun, a lot of rustling leaves, a lot of autumn atmosphere. ? But it turned out to be a hike that we learned something new again. Because there's a planetary path up there. A planetary path is a special kind of hiking trail where a scaled-down model of the solar system is displayed along the hiking route. Over 3 hours away is the most distant planet, Earth and Venus and Mars (and Mercury?) are much closer to the sun. Comfortably we took it. In between Käffele and pumpkin soup. Simply a beautiful autumn day. ️ #planetenweg #weissenstein #herbst #essinddiekleinendinge @visitsolothurn
