The first real day of hiking - from Ascona to the Valle Verzasca

In the morning Gerd took me to the ship. I originally wanted to take the boat to Locarno to get the trip off to a good start. Unfortunately, I had tears in my eyes the whole time, so I couldn't see too much of the lake. I was moved by the situation, by the farewell, by the longing for my beloved...

But hear for yourself how I fared. It was a criss-cross over hill and dale and a lot of altitude up and down, so that my legs were joking in the evening and I had to take a double dose of magnesium.

But it was all worth it: I found a magical place to sleep and had a good night. But I'll report on that in the next podcast.
