Great Journey 🇩🇰 Day 572/2
Attention, now we are getting into Burch'chen "travel stress". We leave Sweden, travel to Denmark and know that we cannot stay here for long.
We are haunted by an appointment at an embassy in Bern. This appointment was in fact postponed 7 times. 6 times by the embassy itself, for the reasons that have accompanied us all the last 2 years, and once we postponed, simply because we now wanted to stay longer in the north.
Nevertheless, we treat ourselves to a nice break day at Amager beach park with a view of the Öresund Bridge in (or just before?) Copenhagen, enjoy the sweet idleness (idleness usually has something to do with snacking, knitting and/or reading) and watch the many children playing. Joggers sweat past our Felix, dogs chase balls and small groups meet for the first cosy barbecue on the meadow in front of our home.
We notice how spring delights us and we look longingly at the first green meadows. Tiny spring flowers poke their heads out of the ground and we realise that we are ready for sun, summer, being outside.
And for Copenhagen. Because cities with lots of people, street cafés and a summer feeling are a lot more attractive than empty, icy streets, people wrapped up thickly because of the cold and hurrying from door to door, noses frozen outside and dripping inside.
So we get ready for Copenhagen, take a cautious look at what our spring wardrobe has to offer and realise that we just need to put on one of the many layers less and we're ready to go.
