Great Journey 🇸🇪 Day 496
So, the southernmost point of Sweden is already ticked off. It wasn't that difficult, after all, we almost landed there.

We continued along the south and east coast. Somehow we are still a little disoriented. We just drive along. Just along the coast.

We stop at small harbours for even smaller breaks and have our first chat with a grandfather and his grandson, all in German. Probably holidaymakers or emigrants. The grandson asks curiously what is hanging down from our van. The grandpa knows immediately: "That's so you don't get a little electric shock all the time!" Great grandpa! "Grandpa, what is an electric shock?"

We smile out of the window and wish him a lot of fun with the explanation and ask if it would be alright with him if we continue our journey in the meantime. He laughs and calls after us: "Yes, being a grandfather is not to be underestimated!

We stroll through the next town - Sölvesborg - and visit the longest pedestrian bridge in Europe. So here we go again: the biggest, longest, coldest, windiest or whatever description of any feature in countries. Today, the longest. All right! It measures 760 m and we are glad that it is not even longer. After all, it almost blows us away and the cold north wind scratches our nose. We meander through the small, nice old town, the few open restaurants are full to bursting with lunch guests and we, just full from breakfast, retreat into our Felix to do a bit more "stretching".

Let's see where the small, almost uncurved coastal road takes us today.
