"When life gives you lemons ..."
So begins a somewhat hackneyed "all's well that ends well" saying. According to the motto, you just have to believe in it, you always have to think positively, etc.
Everyone has times when things don't work out. For us too. That's normal and with every crisis we become better, more flexible, smarter, wiser (whiter?), more beautiful and whatever 😉 .
But now to the real thing: Yesterday, our landlady gave us a whole bag of freshly harvested lemons. And I ask myself, what should I do with them? We don't like syrup, I don't like lemon cake, which is so common in Switzerland. I don't want to bleach my hair either, and the time when I drank a squeezed lemon every day in the hope of becoming beautiful, slim and toned is far behind me.
