Great Journey 🇳🇴 Day 550
We drive across Lofoten and get a glimpse of the beauty of this group of islands. You can truly stay here for days or even weeks. In summer we would hike in hiking boots, in winter in snowshoes. At the moment, rubber boot hiking would probably be the order of the day.
We discover a few rain-free minutes in magical places, stand in a dream directly on fjords, spend the night in absolute silence and bob along. And wait for the weather to get better.
We visit cute cafés and go on small hikes, as the rain keeps drenching us and visibility tends towards zero.
Nevertheless, there are many pictures on the laptop in the evening, there were probably small breaks in the rain here and there. Obviously.
Without even taking a photo, Felix simply drives into the ditch during a nice turning manoeuvre, his butt hanging in the deep snow, the front wheels losing grip and having no desire to get our little house out.
The one-lane road is also blocked by our long ship. The only solution is to wait. After three quarters of an hour, there are enough cars to our left and right (3 in total). Seven helping people are now standing knee-deep in the deep snow of the ditch, give Felix the necessary push to bring the front wheels close to the road again and the journey continues.
"Please, don't tell anyone!" I shout to the helpers, they laugh and take another look at our number plate. "Ah, you're from Bern!" And they snort as we roll away.
