Norway Tour ?? Day 13
Change of plans. No more north. We break off our coastal fjord tour and flee inland. Our favourite weather app #yr shows sun behind the mountains. In the coastal region, rain in all strengths for the next 10 days.
For today, however, that means 248 km stubbornly ahead through the rain. However, we were gifted with great light/shadow/cloud/fog/rain pictures. And indeed, after about 150 km of rain-free driving and finally even some sun. And: an unbelievably beautiful landscape.
We drive through Hardangervidda National Park and touch Hallingskarvet National Park. Both are at an altitude of about 1000m and impress with their barrenness and colourful autumn colours. However, also by strong wind, some rain, great light and temperatures in the lower single digits. Once again, we are grateful for good, rainproof clothing (and heated grips).
And since it's so beautiful up here (and we have a bit more time due to our coastal escape) we'll stay here for another day and continue roaming through the national park tomorrow.
