Great Journey 🏍 Day 146
In relevant, mostly German-speaking motorbike forums, tips are exchanged on the "species-appropriate" keeping and storage of high-lift touring enduros. We also read them, because our Malou is such a touring enduro. At least that's what the manufacturers say.

At the moment she is also a very patient lockdown enduro, or even better: shopping enduro. She also gets the Greek news every day and is already digging her tyres to carry us all over Greece soon. Maybe even as early as the beginning of February.

Let's go back to the forums. There are motorbike owners who park their bikes on carpets in spotless garages, of course nicely cleaned after every ride. Still others polish their machines just for the pleasure of it (seems to be something like "Oh, I like doing the dishes!"). Or those who try to avoid the rain if possible (sugar motorbike?).

And then there is the Greek version of the so-called "garage".

If I'm honest, they have more charm, more "eye-catcher" potential and honesty. Certainly, the bikes are not touring enduros, but they usually sound like this or even louder. Whether this is due to the "modified" exhaust or to old age, this question remains unanswered.
