I'm looking for a nice place by the sea, I want to get well at last. A cold lasts seven days, so I have two days left. We just want to wait them out.
In St. Abbs we stand at the harbour, the stern of Felix dangerously close to the cliff. I spend half to actually whole days in bed with a direct sea view (and Algic seawater wind around my nose), find the change of tide quite exciting, interrupt my observations only for cosy steam baths or Harry Potter one to infinity on Netflix. Just what you do when you're healthy.
We observe the following:️ The sun does not set until shortly before half past ten in the evening, but it sets spectacularly.
Seagulls have a lot to say to each other
️ The sun rises beautifully shortly after 4, also very beautiful, only our eyes are not quite so fit yet
Although it's only about 13 degrees outside during the day, Mann wears shorts, probably because it's June.
Although the days are very long here because of the short nights, they pass quite quickly with leisurely idleness.
Result day 645: I am healthy again. I am well and we can slowly start our journey.

We are thinking about taking another break from travelling in the summer and visiting our families in Germany and Switzerland. One of the ideas is to organise a Lecture about our long journey to the Persian Gulf to prepare. If you would like to, what would interest you the most? We will also tell stories here that don't find a place here on the blog. We're thinking of the Bern and Berlin area - simply because we have family there. But other places are also conceivable.
