Great Journey 🇸🇪 Day 515
You know those hero stories? Where someone ends up in an adventure.
And then happily, perhaps even proudly, reports on the seemingly impossible.
And now to travellers whose names we do not want to mention.
Act 1.
She goes to collect some wood lying around in the forest during her lunch break. He spends his lunch break on his mobile phone.
The mood is so-so.
The evening approaches. They both close their offices. He wants to eat. She wants a campfire. The mood is still so-so.
At some point they are both standing at the fireplace. They light the fire and burn the waste paper they have brought with them. The collected wood is not impressed by this and remains unburnt.
Both go home, the mood? Never mind.
Act Two.
The next lunch break is spent by both of them, realising their absolute survival failure, tinkering with a super-igniter. Due to a lack of waste paper (everything was burnt yesterday), the table candle has to transform (clean!) toilet paper into a burning turbo with wax. They proudly watch the Superzündi and anxiously await the evening.
Act Three.
The evening. To be on the safe side, we eat before the adventure. This rules out the possibility of being hungry and grumpy. Equipped with a Superzündi, the couple walks leisurely to the fireplace. The stacked wood is still there. The small clump of toilet paper and candle wax is lit and only 30 seconds later the fire is ablaze. She dances around the fire singing. He pokes at it all the time. Sparks fly.
Both feel like mini heroes. And they are all the more pleased that Felix has buttons for the heating and other conveniences.
So, dear friends, should you be with us in the wilderness, please think along for us and don't expect too much!
