A fantastic hike in the north of Malta. About 14 kilometres along the coast. First along the cliffs, then along the stone shore. There were no hiking trails. I simply trudged over hill and dale. The wind almost blew me away (which is saying something) and I actually had the smell of the sea in my nose for the first time in 4 weeks. Do you know it? It smells like salt and seaweed, wind and water droplets. Just brilliant! #mellieha #armierbay
