Big trip 🇨🇭 Day 424
After a long, interesting, exciting and, yes, even crumple-inducing visit to the Suisse Caravan Salon, it's time for some real holiday preparation.
We rummage through our furniture and boxes, dig out cosy blankets, pillows and bedding. We wash everything again (who knows how often we can wash it later). We inspect our kitchen appliances for their suitability (and usefulness) for camping and, last but not least, we use Mum's kitchen to finally stir up another batch of marigold ointment.
For me, this is pure meditation. The flowers come from our friend's garden and some of the organic oil is still from our friends in Greece.
We used to always have a few Riblusas with us, it was always a nice little gift. When we started travelling by motorbike, we had to do without the gifts and presents due to the reduced storage space.
But now, at last, we have space again and while Gerd is still reading the internet about inverters and water filters, I'm standing in the kitchen, dreamily and full of anticipation, filling jar after jar of fresh organic marigold ointment.
So: I would be ready 😉
🚐 And for anyone who wants to ask anyway: We can finally pick up our van in mid-November.
