Great Journey 🏍🏍 Day 30
It was not easy to find the turnoff to the small side road. Paper map, googleMaps and also a bit of our sat nav and then we found it, the magical road to Lago del Predil and on to the "Sella Nevea". The pass road is almost empty and we enjoy driving. We take breaks, drink our first espresso and take a little bit of gravel under our wheels.
But the best part is the short break at Cascate Del Rio Repepeit, a waterfall at an old, mossy stone bridge that is well worth seeing. The highlight for us, however, is the colour of the water as it splashes between the rocks.
I take great pleasure in the waterproof boots. So I can trudge through the riverbed (but I soon realise that my boots also come to an end at calf height!) and look at the bridge from all sides. Gerd, meanwhile, can live out his play instinct: he takes time for his first flying lessons with the flying camera.
