First we wanted to run in the Bernese Oberland, but rain was forecast. So we decided to drive to the Valais and let ourselves drift along the south ramp. Sun, wind and a wonderful view were the reward.

I became aware of your podcast through the last IDUG Berlin (better through your jumper ;-)).
As a small tip - because you asked for such in preparation for your Alpine crossing - I can definitely recommend Christina Türmer "Laufen. Eat. Sleep" to your heart. You don't seem to lack motivation to just go for it, but you also get good tips for being ultra-light on the road... I'd be happy to lend you my copy. I devoured the almost 300 pages in two days and immediately had the feeling that I wanted to get off the bike... Or at least take up the pilgrimage I started 5 years ago again 😉 I'm very happy with the book...
