Big Trip - Little Break 🇨🇭 Day 607
This holiday-from-travel home stay is captivating in its repetitions. Once again we go to Burgäschisee, this time with mum.
While we are still struggling with the parking app, Mum runs off into the forest. At some point, we have finally paid, and we hurry after her. "Let's run together!" I call, completely out of breath. "But we have to earn our lunch!" she says. Aha, earning lunch again.
At some point the pace slows down automatically (wasn't it only in autumn that I broke my hip?) and we stroll around the lake. I pick dandelions and weave a wreath (for which I get only laughter again!) and we let ourselves be pampered on the restaurant sun terrace. From the kitchen and from the sun, both of which really mean well with us.
We spend the afternoon strolling through our favourite city, recharging our batteries with that Bern feeling. Because we know that next week we'll be rolling on towards left-hand traffic and Indian cuisine (or can we also find good English cuisine?).
