For today I make a note: I have to come here again, but then with Heike! What a great area! The colours remind me of the Grand Canyon and the route is simply pomfortionous!
My eyes can't get enough, in the evening I realise that the camera has also taken far too many photos once again. The good thing about our travel report, however, is that I only upload the pictures and write a few little notes, Heike takes care of the rest. So she will probably have to delete some of the pictures today. But: she wanted it that way!
It was winding through the mountains, it felt like a panoramic road in parts. The small villages in between gave it a special flair! Apparently it is harvest time here, many farmers are out in the fields and also in the greenhouses, onions are piled up at the roadside.
At some point, after an endlessly beautiful tour, I look for a hotel. I book online, arrive and notice that the hotel is not really ready yet. And: I am the first guest! The procedures at the reception are more than a little awkward, towels, toilet paper and all the cupboard doors are missing. But, as it is in Turkey, with a lot of friendliness and even more tea, everything goes much better. Toilet paper and towels are brought to me, I don't put the cupboard away for one night anyway. And then I fall into bed, dog-tired.
What a beautiful day! I will definitely come here again!
