Great Journey 🏍 Day 403

Although I didn't really arrive quickly in Austria, I am now surprised. Where to go with me? The weather app (all weather apps!) shows the first snow on the passes in the next few days. So I'm not in the mood for days of leisurely kürveling over the Alpine passes, no, I'm not.
Heike has an idea. And a few minutes later I have a new mobile number saved and a plan. We're going to Tyrol, to the Stubaital. There Harald and Heike (another Heike, that is) are waiting for me for dinner. I'm even allowed to sleep in their guest room, I'm pampered, I'm allowed to snack for all I'm worth and even work in their living room on Monday. And we don't even know each other "in real life", we only get to know and appreciate each other here. The two of them have been following our journey since Rome and we are in close social media contact. They are motorcyclists themselves and the icing on the cake: they also have a couple of visiting bussies 🐈, one of which somehow didn't want to go home.
The drive to the two of them is wonderful, I unfortunately sped through South Tyrol far too quickly (note to self: we have to go there again, with much more time and above all: with hiking boots!) and I feel a kind of home feeling. These Alps, the mountains, oh, I can even read the signs again. Simply enchanting.
