"So, are you in the Christmas spirit yet?" I hear in one of those countless online meetings. "Yes, and how!" I say.
The winter Christmas decoration basket (which can be quickly stored away) has moved into Chalet Felix, along with candles and incense burners. Outside the door, the most beautiful winter landscape awaits us. Feliz Navidad" is playing incessantly on the radio, and yes, "Last Christmas" is also playing quite often. Let's see how long I'll be married. This man really has nerves of steel! He either listens to pop songs up and down with me or now my 4-song Christmas playlist.
But we are also making it a bit difficult for ourselves to say goodbye to Switzerland. Travelling through a magical country, the weather is kind to us. We still have a few days left before we head north. But we use these days to fill up our home-mountains-and-nutsummits account. (Result: mountains in our hearts, nut croissants on our hips).
Today we head to Adelboden, "our" family skiing and hiking area. Today it's all about soaking up the sun and resting your soul with a view of the white-powdered mountain peaks.
Switzerland, we will miss you. We notice it already. Nevertheless, the anticipation of all that is to come is stronger.
