Greece - Dimitsana and a cosy zMorge

26 April 2021

Great Journey 🏍 Day 236
Last day on the Peloponnese peninsula. We leave Dimitsana, drive through a magnificent mountain landscape, take a few more mountain passes (with zero view) and shiver with cold. After a short stop (it's good that we have our quilted jackets and winter gloves with us and can put them on or underneath), we continue our journey shell-warm.

Thanks at this point to Marga, who writes that we really are frostbite. Hallooo!? At 6 degrees and in fog, we're allowed to freeze. Besides, we freeze when we want to 🥰.

Mountain landscape, by the way. We are not the only guests in the hotel, a young man is sitting at the next table and we immediately start talking. He comes from Israel and is obviously pleased to meet other travellers. Israelis have been allowed to travel freely here in Greece for a few days.

He himself organises guided motorbike tours here and all over the world and is a bit "jealous" of our Malou. He himself is currently "only" travelling by car and raves, raves, raves about Greece's north as a motorbike destination.

Our plan to leave early once again comes to nothing. The chatting and our interest in people and encounters makes the time pass much too quickly. Thank you Saar for the shared zMorgen and your travel tips!
