Great Journey 🏍🏍 Day 26
The mood is changing, with days of rain and medieval delivery times from DHL (our motorbike key, remember?) causing my mood to sink to basement level.
But that's probably what everyone is talking about: there is not always only the sunny side of travelling. We are off to Germany again for a short while, because it was easier to have the key sent to a German BMW branch.
But, as it is with diversions: Here, too, we find our way back to our good mood. Berchtesgaden and the Königssee also make it easy for us. The pictures speak for themselves, don't they? We walk along the lake off the "beaten paths", discover the lake close to the shore and watch the (electric-powered?) excursion boats. The snow stayed down to about 1000 m last night, so Peter (or whoever is responsible) has created a nice backdrop for the Berchtesgaden Alps.
It's a wonderful place to hike, which we do. We walk along the little river back to Berchtesgaden and a little later take the bus to another historic place in the area. But more about that later.
