Artists from Bangkok meet here, not big international artists. Every now and then a puppet show takes place here. And because the canals are closed to tourist boats today, we are once again all alone. We almost feel like we are in quiet, untouristy Laos. However, I must correct one thing: we are not really in Bangkok, but on the other side of the river, I have forgotten the name. Only that it used to be the capital of Thailand, then some Rama (the first?) probably thought the other side would be better and built a huge palace on the other side of the river.
