Great Journey 🇨🇭 Day 464
Did I mention that I live with a little "IT guy"? Everything that can be done is controlled and monitored with apps.
Every little flash of inspiration is entered as an appointment in the calendar, the heating and the filling level of the gas tanks are monitored by mobile phone (hourly in the beginning, I think he enjoyed it) and of course the weather. The weather is checked regularly and compared with reality.
So we are sitting in our bus in the evening, cosy with an Italian evening (pasta and Italo playlist) and now we also know that there will be 10 to 20 mm of snow. So the meadow around us will probably be slightly white. One to two centimetres is not that much.
The evening is just going along, we switch from Italian 80s hits to handmade country music (thanks dear @thebartli Haeme for that!) and it starts to snow. Just a little, but thick flakes. It soon becomes clear that the two centimetres are already "full". It gets whiter and quieter around us.
Suddenly, one (one?) Schneeschützi drives onto the square and starts pushing. For one or two hours we are pushed clear. The mountains of pushed snow grow, we can no longer see far from the window.
And the best thing: we feel so comfortable. It's cosy and simply beautiful. The heating is on, we trust the gas-fill indicator app (it was only the weather app that failed) and snuggle into the nest.
In the morning we are simply thrilled. You can think of winter however you like. But it's great with so much snow, isn't it? We look out of the window and keep marmosets for sale.
