Great Journey 🏍 Day 192
Today "only" a short hike. 15 kilometres and halfway through we were able to stop at a café. The coffee house here is usually called Kafenio. Easy to remember, isn't it?
The way led us once again away from the front door into the mountains to Lifadakia, first we had a view of Koroni and the castle, later we hiked along the steep coast in Charakopio. Back in Koroni we were stopped by an elderly Greek woman. She quickly ran back to her house and fetched an armful of fresh oranges to give to us.
Back home, we put our tired legs up and enjoyed the oranges we had been given. They were all wrinkly and unattractive on the outside (the oranges, not our legs!), but super fresh, juicy and sweet on the inside. What a nice way to end the day.
