Great Journey 🏍 Day 263
On the 8th day of our trip we saw her for the last time: our daughter.

The night before our reunion was exciting. The lab (PCR test in Berlin) took more than the usual 24 hours and we didn't know if the result would be there on time until shortly before she left.

This fuss about "whether" or "whether-not" was so superfluous and we learned once again that the people who see everything in a relaxed way really do live more calmly. So Gerd.

Well, anyway, at some point she was there, our "little one", and the joy was enormous. We strolled through Varna, discovered the harbour and the "Primorski Park" directly on the sea (as the name says: Pri-Morski, before the sea), drank homemade lemonade in beach bars and pretended that the cold of the water didn't bother us at all.

In our hotel we get an extra bed, which is much too short for each of us. They probably only get extra beds for people with a maximum length of 1.60 metres. Gerd sacrifices himself, his legs dangle out comfortably. (At least that's what it looked like to us girls, thanks for that!) We chatter deep into the night and make tiny little plans for the coming days.

Hach: Holiday from travelling & family visit can be so nice. And: Dear son, if you are reading this, we would also be ready for a son visit 😉
