Great Journey 🏍 Day 260
We leave Motocamp Bulgaria after 7 days.
We are warned as soon as we arrive: if you stay here longer, it will be hard to leave again. Good that for once we have an item on our agenda: Our daughter is going to visit us and she wants to go to the sea. Let her have it 🥰
So we now have 4 days for the 250 kilometres to the sea, which is very much in line with our slow-travel rhythm!
At Motocamp we meet Polly and Yvo, who run the camp with dedication and great motorbike love. We meet travellers who didn't make it, so got stuck and now call a house here in the village their own (must have been here too long!) and we get to know bikers from Bulgaria and travellers from Australia.
We spend lazy days in our otherwise rather unused camping chairs in the sun and take leisurely trips into the surrounding area. We feed the chickens with melon bowls, extensively stroke the two camp cats and Harley, the lovable old bear-sized dog.
We spend the cosy breakfast hours and the evenings with Stu and Janell (@thepacktrack) and get to know travellers who have been on the road for 7 years on two motorbikes and have their two dogs with them. Thank you you two and four for the wonderful time!
Driving off was not easy. But the tingling sensation of being on the road came back immediately. So: everything was done right!
